The definition of castile soap has gotten a bit loosey goosey over the years. Some larger soap-making companies have decided that it means “any soap made from only vegetable oils” , but originally it meant that the soap was made only with olive oil from the Castile, Spain. No coconut oil, no palm oil, no nothing but olive oil. And because it is a pure olive oil soap, the cure time on these bars is one whole entire year. This batch of soap was made New Years Day 2023.

Pure olive oil soap is about as conditioning as soap can get. This unscented formula that has been infused with chamomile is perfect for extra extra sensitive skin.

Our castile soap is made with sopanified 100% Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil that has been with infused with chamomile from our garden, and double strength chamomile tea. No added color or essential oil for fragrance. The only decoration on this soap is the unintentional and occasional fleck of chamomile seed.
