about:

moose + frankie is a small (so small!) woman owned and operated business out of Lakewood, Colorado.

Our skin care products are made by hand, in small batches. We use no synthetic color, fragrance, or preservatives. We choose ingredients based on how they benefit you and the planet, not how they could save us money or time.

We refuse to use the term “anti-aging” because we value experience and wisdom, and we believe that growing older is a glorious luxury to be celebrated each and every step of the ding dang way…

To minimize waste, we will gladly sell our soaps without labels. Just let us know when you place your order!

home grown ingredients:

Carrot juice creates a gorgeous bright orange soap, while the beta-carotene in the carrot juice reduces inflammation and speeds healing. Comfrey is a perennial that is known for its skin rejuvenating properties. Chamomile soothes the skin, as well as the soul. And lavender? Its scent relaxes while its buds provide gentle exfoliation.

I grow all of these (and more) high quality ingredients in my own pesticide free garden and use them in my handmade skincare.

The lavender lotion bar helped calm & soothe my very anxious 9 year old on Christmas Eve. Nothing was helping him relax enough to fall asleep. Pulled out my lotion bar, rubbed some on his hands, had him take a few slow breaths, worked like a charm! I need to buy stock in this product! lol Thank you!

To say that I can’t live without my Moose and Frankie bath salts may sound like hyperbole. It is NOT! I take a bath every single night (sorry drought) with the SOAK salts and some days it’s about the only thing that keeps me sane. My obsession with the swirly pattern soaps is a little over-the-top as well. I use them myself, and ordered 180+ to give to clients over the holiday. I received so many nice thank-you’s and comments about how lovely and nourishing the soap is. Thank you, Rebecca!

meet moose and frankie:

Moose is my dog. Frankie is my cat. And I am Rebecca.

I grew up in the Bay Area, but I made my way to Colorado 16 years ago. In that time, I acquired some kids, some pets, some ground to grow food in, and a desire to get back to basics and live more simply. But to be fair, there is nothing simple about raising a 12 year old and twin eight year olds. And having 27 chickens seems a bit extreme, no?

(Editing to add that we are heartbroken to announce that Moose passed away January 6, 2021. He was 13.)
