Carrot juice creates a gorgeous bright orange soap, while the beta-carotene in the carrot juice reduces inflammation and speeds healing. Comfrey is a perennial that is known for its skin rejuvenating properties. Chamomile soothes the skin, as well as the soul. And lavender? Its scent relaxes while its buds provide gentle exfoliation.
I grow all of these (and more) high quality ingredients in my own pesticide free garden and use them in my handmade skincare.
“The lavender lotion bar helped calm & soothe my very anxious 9 year old on Christmas Eve. Nothing was helping him relax enough to fall asleep. Pulled out my lotion bar, rubbed some on his hands, had him take a few slow breaths, worked like a charm! I need to buy stock in this product! lol Thank you!”
“To say that I can’t live without my Moose and Frankie bath salts may sound like hyperbole. It is NOT! I take a bath every single night (sorry drought) with the SOAK salts and some days it’s about the only thing that keeps me sane. My obsession with the swirly pattern soaps is a little over-the-top as well. I use them myself, and ordered 180+ to give to clients over the holiday. I received so many nice thank-you’s and comments about how lovely and nourishing the soap is. Thank you, Rebecca! ”
Moose is my dog. Frankie is my cat. And I am Rebecca.
Feeling comfy in one’s own skin is an inside job AND an outside job. I am dedicated to both. I am a 50-something mom of three youngish kids. When I think about how many times I have rubbed some product on my skin to fix something about myself, I want to scream. Self care should be an act of love, not correction. So I am doing this. And I am letting y’all know: “Anti-aging” is what happens when misogyny and capitalism have a baby… and we aren’t doing that anymore. We are loving ourselves, and caring for ourselves with kind words and truly natural products, in a way that heals and nourishes our skin AND our souls. Pretty rad, huh?
(Sad note: Time passes. Unfortunately, Moose passed away in 2021 and Frankie left us in 2025. They were both old and rickety in the end, and showered with love their whole entire lives. They are missed, immensely.)
